Poni Parade Fundraiser

I really should have posted about this at an earlier time, but I guess I'll have to do what I can.

Poni Parade is an adult artbook put together by Doxy and other artists, including Kevinsano, Atryl, MLPFWB, and Ehryel. There are 70 pages of comics and 44 pages of pinups, equaling a whole lot of pony for you to enjoy. Their fundraiser still has 12 days to go and there are plenty of stretch goals, so definitely show those guys some support. BroNYCon Fic Contest: Hoof of Argon

Announcing the Bronycon fic contest, HOOF OF ARGON! 

Bronycon is having a very special panel this year, called Hoof Of Argon. Some of you will already have guessed what this is! It is a celebration of the trollfic. Writer pitted against reader in a ghastly struggle with ensuing hilarity for all! 

At the con, the rules are as follows. READ THE FIC, out loud, as accurately as possible, enunciating the lines as written. Ponies will read until they begin laughing, at which point they must hand the fic over to the next in line. It's Eye of Argon, ponified! 

But which fic is being read? 

That's where you come in, EQAD readers! This is a call for submissions. The best fics submitted will be publically read at Bronycon, during this panel, and you'll be able to watch your fic breaking hapless readers, a true blaze of glory for the common trollfic! You must submit your own fic, and cannot submit some other pony's fic. This is not a Trainwreck Explorers thing for finding the worst fic-writer, this is a trollfic challenge for those who are writing stuff like that on purpose. 

There is a catch, though, which makes this an even bigger writing challenge. 

Bronycon is a PG-13 con. These fics will be read live over a microphone, even if it's late at night. You cannot have the trollfic content be purely about sex and gore, or it will no longer be PG-13 and will be disqualified. Innuendo is probably okay, violence likewise, but it's gotta be primarily about bad writing and not purely gross-out stuff. Many existing trollfics would fail to pass this test. Special consideration will be given to grammar that's challenging to read as written, and hilarious to listen to when attempted. 

We will read as many as we can at the con, so please PM links for your entries to Applejinx on FIMfiction, who will forward them to a dark, dank cave where haggard ponies dig through the fetid piles of fic with their bare, trembling hooves, determining winners!

Playpony Magazine Funding Campaign

A project has been started to put out a high quality magazine full of pony smut, and all it needs to start is funding. According to the website, they have a goal of $1200, and this will be able to purchase about 250 magazines at roughly 24 pages each. As a bonus, it's also environmentally friendly.

The images included are said to be exclusive to the magazine, so you'd be getting new and fresh pony smut. It'll also contain four characters, one comic, a poster and neat things like artist interviews. If you're interested, hit up their website here! Or, click the image.

Pony Hypnosis

Have you ever been interested in becoming a pony? Well, I think right now, this is about the closest you can come. An interesting thread/guide on /mlp/ was given to me, explaining how you can hypnotize yourself into thinking you're a pony. And, of course, this can work sexually as well.

Five Million

I was a little slow on the screencap, so you'll have to forgive, but wow. Five million!

That's... that's more than four million!

Last time I did a post like this, it was back in August, and that was only 2 million. Five months later we've got another 3 million. Here check out another graph! (I love these things.)

Yeah, that big dip there? That's when equestriaafterdark.net stopped working. For obvious reasons, it took a huge hit in terms of visits. But look at that recovery! December was really amazing for pageviews, for whatever, so we're totally back in the swing of things. In fact, December was a new record for pageviews, hitting 608k, which just barely beat August at 604k. Judging by the trend of this month, it might hit 700k!

Shipping ponies with each other is fun and all, but it's so much better to ship them with themselves! Give us a story about some more creative uses for time travel, or some other kinds of fun that can come from using the Mirror Pool. Maybe a changeling that enjoys being a copycat, or somepony meets a version of themselves from a parallel dimension. It's up to you, just so long as somepony ends up smooching themselves!

Spaghetti Cup 2013

Spaghetti Cup 2013! 

The second Cup championship for Team Fortress 2 between the pony imageboards has started planning. 

As you might recall, 4chan /mlp/ handily won the Cup the first time around, and are the reigning champions! 

For the 2nd Spaghetti Cup championship, the tourney will be expanded to include teams from all the active pony related imageboards. Teams from MLPchan, /mlp/, Ponychan and efchan, and more if they want to join! An Esport Heaven slot has been created for the tournament, http://www.esportsheaven.net/?page=tournament&action=view&tournament_id=1774&content_id=6439, and teams can begin forming and organizing from the various sites. 

We have a server (though if someone wants to offer another for a European server and/or simultaneous matches, that will be great.) We have someone willing to cast, though of course more would certainly be welcome. The tentative date set is January 13, though that is negotiable for when people are available. My Not-So-Little Pony Writeoff

The My Not-So-Little Pony group on FiMFiction is hosting a write off for all writers interested in the groups focus: fat or inflated ponies in all forms of expansion fetishes! Beginning Sunday, December 9th at 1 A.M., writers will be given one week to write a story, using a predetermined pairing of mane six ponies, engaged in some form of expansion. Be it weight gain, inflation, pregnancy or just plain being fat, all stories will be voted on by the public. 

We are offering real life prizes as well, including pony toys, t-shirts and Steam games! All writers, of all skill levels, are invited to join the competition.
